Tucker Parks' Orchard Guild
Planting a fruit tree is an optimistic act of faith for future generations. The Friends of Tucker Parks’ Orchard Guild’s mission is simple; we want our neighbors in Tucker, Georgia, especially the youngsters, to eat more fruit and cut back on their processed food eating habits. We want to bring a new, community-centered, orchard-to-table model to Tucker. The Orchard Guild has 3 major initiatives:
• Fruit tree and fruit bush installations by the Tucker community.
• Educational discussions and lectures.
• Public education at events.
